Introducing -- The Piano Lady: Songwriter. Musician. Performer. Teacher. Wendy Rollin is a words and music woman. *Recipient of two ASCAP Special Awards for Children's Music *Creator of the Music is My Friend CD, The Family Jukebox CD and Music Fun & Games CD, favorites in homes and classrooms everywhere. Wendy Rollin graduated from the University of Michigan with an English degree and teaching credentials. She is a natural musician. As a pianist, she entertains audiences of all ages. Since 1997, she has served as Music Director of The Echo Park School in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In February of 2005, she appeared at The Ark, Ann Arbor’s nationally acclaimed music venue, in an original one-woman show for families. A popular conference presenter, she has performed for many teaching organizations and institutions including the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children and Bowling Green State University. Seclected by the Romney family, in May 2004 she was one of the teachers honored at Rowdy Roundup, a benefit for Lighthouse PATH. Her shows and CD series introduce a world of music, self-expression and harmony with others. |
